Time: 2 hours or more depending on skill level

Level Of Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced

Tip – To make the earrings shorter, replace 2 beads for 4 or take out 4 colors.

Easy To Follow DIY Instructions

1. Earring Base - Cut 6” of 20g wire and form a wrapped loop.
2. Fringe – Cut 210” of wildfire cording.
3. Using wildfire cording, string loop from step 1, and form a surgeon’s knot.
4. Trim short end of cording and lightly dab knot with glue. Let dry.
5. On bead mat, lay out Czech glass seed beads in the following order:
• Amber
• Light red
• Pink opaque
• Fuchsia
• Aqua luster
• Light blue opaque
• Aqua AB
• Royal Blue
• Denim blue
6. String needle onto end of cording.
7. String the following beads: (I am breaking down colors for easier stringing.)
• 4 amber, light red, amber, light red, amber, light red, 4 amber, light red, amber, light red, and amber.
• 4 light red, pink opaque, light red, pink opaque, light red, pink opaque, 4 light red, pink opaque, light red, pink opaque, and light red.
• 4 pink opaque, fuchsia, pink opaque, fuchsia, pink opaque, fuchsia, 4 pink opaque, fuchsia, pink opaque, fuchsia and pink opaque.
• 4 fuchsia, aqua luster, fuchsia, aqua luster, fuchsia, aqua luster, 4 fuchsia, aqua luster, fuchsia, aqua luster and fuchsia.
• 4 aqua luster, light blue opaque, aqua luster, light blue opaque, aqua luster, light blue opaque, 4 aqua luster, light blue opaque, aqua luster, light blue opaque and aqua luster.
• 4 light blue opaque, aqua AB, light blue opaque, aqua AB, light blue opaque, aqua AB, 4 light blue opaque, aqua AB, light blue opaque, aqua AB and light blue opaque.
• 4 aqua AB, royal blue, aqua AB, royal blue, aqua AB, royal blue, 4 aqua AB, royal blue, aqua AB, royal blue, and aqua AB.
• 4 royal blue, denim blue, royal blue, denim blue, royal blue, denim blue, 4 royal blue, denim blue, royal blue, denim blue, and 2 royal blue.
8. Skip the last royal blue bead, and pass needle back through all of the beads.
9. Pull snuggly next to wrapped loop.
10. Form a surgeon’s knot.
11. Repeat steps 7-10 a total of 12 times.
12. Trim cording and lightly dab knot with glue. Let dry.
13. Slide bead cap cone, and 3mm silver onto 20g wire, and form a simple loop.
14. Connect ear wire to top of loop.
