I have had a great time designing with this selection of beads, and I hope the rest of you Pretty Palette people have enjoyed it, too! I had so many different ideas about how I wanted to use the beads! From fire-polished faceted rounds to two-hole beads to the larger agate rounds, the bold, graphic sensibility of these shapes and strong colors got my creative juices flowing.

Because it's spring and we'll be baring our arms soon, I decided to make a wrap bracelet first. This style of bracelet is sure to remain popular throughout the summer, and it is so much fun to make and wear. My Spring Nocturne DIY Wrap Bracelet starts with the grey two-hole beads and tapers up to the 6mm fire-polished rounds. I found some amazingly perfect cord that perfectly coordinates with our color palette in 2mm gold matte leather cording

I absolutely loved getting a chance to play around with some wire this month, too. My handmade leaf-shaped ear wires include beads wired directly onto the leaf "frames" for a pair of sparkling earrings with a bit of organic flare. I added some yellow lined seed beads and hematite finish 2mm Czech fire-polished beads to make them really pop! Earrings can't handle the larger, heavier beads as well as they can these small beauties.

My final project is a necklace with a modern, color-blocked look. The Spring Nocturne Necklace is a perfect beginner's project. All you need to know how to do is string beads and crimp a tube. The 2-holed beads perfectly create the look of a single strand while keeping the two strands in line. The Spring Nocturne Necklace is easy to wear, and it's matte black beads at the center keep it relatively organic while the bright, sparkling jonquil crystals shimmer!
