monthly Design Challenge with Molly Schaller
Well, hellooooo COLOR!
The May Pretty Palette, Bloom Where You're Planted, is inspired by Heather Powers' gorgeous illustration
What a romp the May Pretty Palette is! I love these colors! The mixed packets of tassels and tiny fimo fruit were amazingly fun to play with. I'm not sure about everyone else, but this quarantine has me definitely blooming where I'm planted. I hope you're all staying safe, comfortable, and busy with your beads!
I went two directions with necklace ideas for this month's project. The first set of necklaces are lightweight and made with contrasting seed beads and blown glass beads for a jubilant and youthful necklaces that are a breeze to make. They practically look like candy!

The second necklace I made is a bold statement necklace with more beautiful beads! It's also a relatively easy stringing project that works up pretty quickly.
I couldn't resist the tassels for long, so I used ALL of the tiny tassels to create a memory wire cuff that simply shimmies on your wrist!
And those cute little fruits couldn't get away without being added to the gorgeous triangle tassels. I LOVE these little guys!
There are still a couple kits for this amazing set left, so get them right now if you're interested in either playing along or you'd just like to have a curated set of beads to use for your own designs!
I can't wait to see the beauties you all have made in the Beaded Jewelry Facebook group and on Instagram where you can tag Halcraft Collection with #halcraftprettypalette and follow us on Instagram! Thank you so much for playing along with me!
