Materials:
25 8x18mm orange AB coated glass leaves
25 4x6mm gold tone metal dot rondelles
25 5mm dark amethyst Czech fire polished glass faceted rounds
50 4mm purple luster Czech glass fire polished glass faceted rounds
26 2.5x5mm red Czech twin GB duo 2-hole pressed glass ovals
194 11/0 Czech dark red luster seed beads
25 8mm opaque dark red glass fire polished faceted rounds
6 8x5mm red dyed bamboo coral teardrops
6 4mm gold tone plated brass rounds
18 1.5x4mm gold tone plated nugget rondelle
24 8mm orange dyed agate rounds
27 4mm orange dyed dolomite stone rounds
6 gold color crimp tubes
62” 26-gauge gold color German style wire
50” 7-strand .015 7-strand bead stringing wire
2 6mm gold tone jump rings
1 gold tone lobster clasp

Level of difficulty: intermediate

Time: 2+ hours

Instructions:

1. Cut 31 2” pieces of 26-gauge German wire.
2. Slide one orange leaf bead onto a piece of German wire so the leaf bead is about 1/3 of the way onto the wire. Bend the wire so that it follows the shape of the top of the leaf bead, and wrap the shorter tail around the longer one. Trim any excess wire from the shorter tail.
3. Onto the longer wire string 1 gold tone dot rondelle and a 5mm dark amethyst fire-polished round. Make a wrapped loop.
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 24 more times for a total of 25 leaf drops.
5. Using one of the remaining 2” pieces of wire, make a wrapped loop. String a red coral teardrop bead. Make a wrapped loop on the other side. Repeat 5 more times for a total of 6 teardrop links.
6. Cut the flexible bead stringing wire into 2 18” pieces and one 16” piece.
7. Onto the 16” piece of wire string a crimp bead. Pass the wire through the loop of one of the coral teardrop loops (the loop closer to the larger end of the teardrop) and back through the crimp bead.
8. Flatten the crimp bead and string 1 4mm gold round, 1 4mm dolomite round, 1 gold nugget rondelle, 1 4mm dolomite round, 1 orange agate round 1 4mm dolomite round, 1 orange agate round, and 1 4mm dolomite round.
9. String 1 gold nugget rondelle, 1 orange agate round, 1 gold nugget rondelle, 1 4mm dolomite round, 1 orange agate round, and 1 4mm dolomite round. Repeat this step 4 more times.
10. String the same bead as steps 8 & 9 but in reverse to create a symmetrical strand.
11. String 1 crimp bead and another coral teardrop link loop. Pass the wire back through the crimp bead, take up slack, and crimp the bead, trimming the tail of the cord. Set the inner strand of the necklace aside.
12. Onto an 18” piece of wire string a crimp bead. Pass the wire through the loop of one of the coral teardrop loops (the loop closer to the larger end of the teardrop) and back through the crimp bead.
13. String 1 4mm gold round, 3 seed beads, 1 2-hole bead, 2 seed beads, 1 red 8mm Czech faceted round, 2 seed beads, 1 2-hole bead, 1 seed bead, 1 red 8mm Czech faceted round, 1 seed bead, 1 2-hole bead, 2 seed beads, 1 red 8mm Czech faceted round, 2 seed beads, 1 2-hole bead, 1 seed bead, 1 red 8mm Czech faceted round, 1 seed bead, 1 2-hole bead, 2 seed beads, 1 red 8mm Czech faceted round, 2 seed beads, 1 2-hole bead, 2 seed beads, 1 red 8mm Czech faceted round, 2 seed beads, 1 2-hole bead, 2 seed beads, 1 red 8mm Czech faceted round, 2 seed beads, 1 2-hole bead, 1 seed bead, 1 red 8mm Czech faceted round, 1 seed bead, 1 2-hole bead, 2 seed beads, 1 red 8mm Czech faceted round, 2 seed beads, 1 2-hole bead, 2 seed beads, 1 red 8mm Czech faceted round, 2 seed beads, and 1 2-hole bead.
14. String 1 seed bead, 1 red 8mm Czech faceted round, and1 seed bead.
15. Repeat step 13, but in reverse to create a symmetrical necklace.
16. String a crimp bead, pass the wire through the loop of a teardrop link and back through the crimp bead. Pull to take up excess slack and crimp the bead. Trim excess wire.
17. String a crimp bead onto the second 18” piece of beading wire, pass the wire through the loop of a teardrop link and back through the crimp bead. Pull to take up excess slack and crimp the bead. Trim excess wire.
18. String 3 seed beads.
19. String the bottom hole of the already strung 2-hole bead, 1 seed bead, 1 4mm purple luster Czech glass faceted round, 1 seed bead, 1 leaf drop, 1 seed bead, 1 4mm purple luster Czech glass faceted round, and 1 seed bead. Repeat this pattern 24 more times.
20. String the bottom hole of the final already strung 2-hole bead, 3 seed beads, 1 4mm gold round, and 1 crimp bead. Pass the wire through a coral teardrop link, and back through the crimp bead. Crimp the bead and trim excess wire.
