Materials:
39 Bead Gallery® watermelon AB coated quartz crystal (14948)
02 Bead Gallery® Costa Rican rosewood tubes (13399)
01 gold tone lobster clasp
02 gold tone 5mm jump ring
01 gold tone 15mm jump ring
180” 2-ply brown waxed linen cording
Tools:
Chain-nose pliers (2)
Wire nippers
Level of difficulty (Intermediate to Advanced)
Time – 1 to 1½ hours depending on skill level
Instructions:
1. Remove sticks and arrange large sticks in the center and smaller
sticks on each side.
2. Cut 3 lengths of 60” cording.
3. Using 1 length of cording, string largest stick to the center.
4. Place 2nd and 3rd cords (at the center) on each side of stick and
form an overhand knot.
5. Form an overhand knot on other side of stick.
6. Left side – Separate cords and string stick onto center cords.
7. Bring cords together and form an overhand knot. Repeat 19 times.
8. Bring all 3 cords together and string tube and form an overhand
knot.
9. Right side – Repeat steps 6-8.
10. Connect 5mm jump ring to lobster clasp.
11. String jump ring onto right side of necklace and form 2 knots.
12. Dab knots with super glue and trim long end cording.
13. Connect 5mm jump ring to 15mm jump ring.
14. String 5mm jump onto left side of necklace and form 2 knots.
15. Dab knots with super glue and trim long ends of cording
