monthly Design Challenge with Molly Schaller
I hope your Pink Champagne bead kit kept you warm this February!
Patchy helped by sleeping on my beads to keep them warm! ;)
Thanks again for making Pretty Palettes such a success! We had to restock twice t and sold out twice as well! So, for those of you who love to play along, it pays to purchase as soon as you can.
We don't have any full kits available, but we DO have almost all of the beads available à la carte by shopping the list to the right or clicking the pink button above.
This bead set was one of my favorites because it took a really fun twist on a classic pink by incorporating deep, warm browns with a variety of dusty rose and rose gold tints. My first set to create was the bracelet stack. These rosewood tubes look fantastic stacked up, and whether you wear a single bracelet or all five, these beads shine!
The next pieces I made were the earrings. The tiny stone drops are such a lovely mix of colors and they're a perfect lightweight option for earrings when paired with the lacy mandala connectors.
The necklace started with the pendant that uses eye pins and head pins with rosewood tubes as the main support. From there I had to use the gorgeous pentagonal hematine faceted rounds as the structure of the strands on either side.
