Bead Bugs®

Level of difficulty (Beginner)

Time – Less than 25 minutes for cuff, and 40 minutes for turquoise feather bracelet.

Tips: Stretch cord before stringing your beads. This will help maintain the shape of your bracelet.

Be sure to measure your wrist to insure a proper fit. Add and subtract beads as needed.

A great alternative to the overhand knot is the surgeon’s knot.

Easy To Follow DIY Instructions

Flower Slider Bracelet Cuff
1. Cut 10” of stretch cord.
2. Stretch cord well before stringing your beads. This will help
maintain the bracelets shape in the future.
3. Attach Bead Bug to end of 10” of stretch cord.
4. String top right hole of yellow flower slider, 3 honey 3mm, top holes daisy slider, (3 honey 3mm, top holes yellow slider) repeat 3 times, 3 honey 3mm, top holes of daisy slider, 3 honey 3mm, left hole of first yellow slider.
5. Remove Bead Bug, bring both ends together, form an
overhand knot, and Pull tight. Form a second overhand knot, pull tight
and dab knot with glue. Let Dry.
6. Hide knot behind yellow slider bead.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 of bottom holes of sliders.
8. Using 2” head pin, string turquoise 6mm and form a simple loop. Repeat 1 time.
9. Connect dangle between top row daisy and yellow slider (on both sides.)

Turquoise Feather Link Bracelet

1. Link 1 - Using eye pin, string travertine 8mm Czech and form a simple loop. Repeat 1 time.
2. Link 2 – Using eye pin, string turquoise 6mm and form a simple loop. Repeat 7 times.
3. Link 3 – Using eye pin, string honey 3mm and form a simple loop. Repeat 1 time.
4. Connection of chain – Connect links in the following order: 1, 2, 3, 2, 2, 2.
5. Connect travertine end loop to left side of turquoise slider.
6. Repeat steps 4-5 on right side of turquoise slider.
7. Using 6mm jump ring, connect spring clasp to right side chain.
8. Connect 6mm jump ring to left side chain.
9. Using head pin, string honey 3mm, turquoise 6mm, and form a simple loop.
10. Connect loop to 6mm jump ring.
11. Using eye pin, string honey 3mm and form a simple loop.
12. Open end of loop and connect feather connector.
13. Open other end of loop and connect to the bottom of turquoise slider.
