When did you first start beading? Tell us about yourself.

I first started beading in 2015. I was so drawn to gemstone and crystal beads. I became obsessed with all the different types and their spiritual meanings.

Tell us about your jewelry business.

Yes, I do have a jewelry business. My business name is The Miami Gypsy, LLC, but I will be rebranding in the new year! I decided to start selling jewelry when I first touched gemstone beads! After that, I knew it was something I needed to do! However, it was not until about a year ago that I could do this full-time.

What is your favorite project that you've recently finished and why is it your favorite?

My favorite project would have to be my latest bracelet drop. I found some amazing tanzanite that I had been dying to work with for a long time!

What are your favorite beading techniques and materials?

I love stretch bracelets and wire wrapping cute little charms for them. I absolutely adore using gorgeous quality gemstone beads and findings of all finishes.

What are some of your favorite beads or components on the Halcraft Collection website

I really loved the vast selection of gemstone beads. So many beautiful styles, it was almost impossible to choose which ones I would work with for this project! Another favorite is their Czech glass fire polished beads!

Where do you get your beading inspiration? What most inspires you?

I get inspired by anything colorful. Every time I see a fantastic color palette, whether in nature, paintings, etc. I jot it down and try my best to recreate those color patterns with gemstones. Instagram is an excellent source of inspiration too!

Do you have any tips for the readers regarding building their social media reach?

Staying consistent with posting, I think, is very important. Also, comment, like, and share some of your favorite creator’s work. I always try to keep my Pinterest up to date with all my new work as well.

If you had room for only two tools in your bead kit, what would they be?

If I could only choose two, I would go with a good set of pliers and stretch magic.

What jewelry trends are you excited to incorporate into your beadwork?

I would love to incorporate more beading in my acrylic earrings. Combining both of those worlds in my work is what I’m trying to do now.

What jewelry techniques would you like to learn?

I would love to learn how to make my own beaded wire wrapped chains. They are so gorgeous and intricate! Definitely, something on my to-do list!
