Level of difficulty (Intermediate)

Time – Less than 1 hour

Instructions:

1.     Cut 40” of 3-ply cording.
2.    String 14 spikes to center of cording.
3.    Cut 1 length of 10” 3-ply cording.
4.    Left side of necklace – Using 10” of cording, form 2 simple knots around left center of necklace.
5.    Trim short end and dab knot with super glue.
6.    String 2 gold 4mm, 3 spikes and 2 gold 4mm beads.
7.    Form 2 simple knots around right of center of necklace.
8.    Trim end and dab knot with super glue.
9.    Slide center of pendant down to fit snug with spikes.
10.  Left side of necklace – String 4mm round, sodalite tube, hematine square, 8mm nut, hematine square, aventurine 4mm, hematine square, nut 10mm, hematine square, aventurine 4mm, hematine square, wood, hematine square, 5 quartzite chips, hematine square, wood, hematine square, wood, 5 nut 10mm, hematine square, 9 nut 8mm, hematine square, sodalite tube, hematine square, 16 aventurine 4mm, hematine 6mm, hematine square, hematine 6mm and 4 aventurine 4mm.
11.  Repeat step 10 on right side of necklace.
12.  Bring strands together, string hematine 6mm and form an overhand knot.
13.  Separate strands, move down ¼”, form a simple knot, string aventurine 4mm and form a simple knot.
14.  Trim end and fray.
15.  Repeat steps 13-14 on other strand.
