Level of difficulty (Intermediate to Advanced)

Time – 1 to 1 1/2 hours depending on skill level
                               
Instructions:
1.    Cut 5 lengths of 75 ½” of leather cord.
2.    Row 1 – String (light amethyst 8mm, gold rondelle) repeat 6 times, (light amber 10mm, gold rondelle) repeat 10 times, (light amethyst 8mm, gold rondelle) repeat 5 times and light amethyst 8mm. Set aside.
3.    Row 2 – String (opaque pink 8mm, gold rondelle) repeat 6 times, (peach crackle 10mm, rondelle) repeat 11 times, (opaque pink 8mm, gold rondelle) repeat 5 times and opaque pink 8mm. Set aside.
4.    Row 3 – String (opaque amethyst, gold rondelle) repeat 5 times, light amethyst crackle 10mm, gold rondelle) repeat 14 times, (opaque amethyst, gold rondelle) repeat 4 times and opaque amethyst. Set aside.
5.    Row 4 – String (opaque amber, gold rondelle) repeat 5 times, (amber crackle 10mm, gold rondelle) repeat 16 times, (opaque amber, gold rondelle) repeat 4 times and opaque amber.  Set aside.
6.    Row 5 – String (olivine 8mm, gold rondelle) repeat 5 times, (black amber 10mm, gold rondelle) repeat 18 times, (olivine 8mm, gold rondelle) repeat 4 times and olivine 8mm.  Set aside.
7.    Left side - Bring strands together and form a loose temporary overhand knot to hold strands together during macramé.
8.    Place left side top strands under top clip on clipboard.
9.    Separate strands and clip 1 strand the center strand with a large document clip at the bottom of the clipboard.
10.    We will be forming simple knots using 2 cords on each side.
11.    Form 15 square knots (OR 30 half knots)
12.    Leather fringe -
13.    Remove necklace from clipboard.
14.    Bring all strands together and string 15mm jump ring and form a simple knot.
15.    Pull knot tight and dab knot with super glue.
16.    Separate strands.
17.    Move down ½”, form a simple knot, String opaque amber and form a simple knot. Trim end of leather.
18.    Right side – Remove temporary knot from left side of necklace.
19.    Place right side top strands under top clip on clipboard.
20.    Make sure beads are snug to the back of the document clip.
21.    Separate strands and clip 1 strand the center strand with a large document clip at the bottom of the clipboard.
22.    We will be forming simple knots using 2 cords on each side.
23.    Form 15 square knots (OR 30 half knots.)
24.    Bring strands together and string lobster clasp.
25.    Form a simple knot. Pull knot tight and dab with super glue.
26.    Trim ends.
