Many of our blog readers are "Indie" beaders. You dance to your own beading beat and love your craft. Most of you can be inspired by a jewelry design and reinterpret the necklace, bracelet or earrings into your own style. Inspiration can be found anywhere. At the beach, in a paint store, magazine or while surfing the web. So, today we have the "Indie Jewelry Set". My inspiration for this set are the actual beads. I love to feel and look at the beads I am selecting. My head fills with design possibilities for each strand. The "Indie Jewelry Set" is prompted by my longing for an island get away...
The Indie Necklace is handcrafted using Bead Gallery aqua dyed agate chunk sticks, small/medium dark wood beads and reconstituted stone 3x5mm rondelles. The findings are a bright gold tone.
Next we have the Indie Bracelet. This is a perfect project for the irregular beads that don't seem to fit in your necklace design. This bracelet was handcrafted using the left over Bead Gallery aqua dyed agate chunk sticks from your necklace project. The finding are a bright gold tone.
Lastly, we have the Indie Earrings. I love this fun dangle earrings. You can adjust your design to make the earrings longer or shorter. Just add or remove a beaded loop. These earrings are handcrafted using Bead Gallery small/medium dark wood beads and reconstituted stone 3x5mm rondelles.
